This week JuzBlooz is honouring Big Bill Broonzy, one of the most prolific and influential blues artists of all time, who recorded some 224 sides and had his name against over 300 - in a 15 year span!

Big Bill was born this week but in what year?  1893? 1898? 1903?  In the final analysis it doesn’t really matter, but his music sure does. It weighed heavy on many blues artists including Chris Cotton and Australians Nick Charles, Alex Burns and the late Dutch Tilders.
